Our CompanyMitsubishi Gas Chemical America, Inc. (MGCA), established in 1984, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Inc. (MGC), which first produced Methanol from natural gas in 1952 and the first to do so in Japan. MGC is a major producer of Methanol, ammonia and its derivatives. Xylene-based petrochemicals, hydrogen peroxide, engineering plastics, electronic materials and unique oxygen-absorber products for food preservation. MGCA imports many of these business groups to the US from Japan for sales in North America, South America and Europe.
